Made with real fruit!

I love that this healthy pinna colada smoothie is non alcoholic, something the entire family can enjoy! The next best part is it’s healthy and made with real fruit and no added sweeteners.
This nutritious virgin pinna colada smoothie is essentially a coconut cream, pineapple, banana smoothie, totally vegan and dairy free.
The coconut makes this smoothie filling, while the pineapple and banana give it the sweet taste of a pinna colada! Make sure to not get the lite coconut milk, you want thick and filling.
Instructions: How to make Virgin Pinna Colada Smoothie (Bowl) – dairy free
Essentially you’re asking how to make a pineapple, banana and coconut smoothie?
So easy & quick!

First grab your blender. (I finally was convinced a Vitamix is worth the money after many years of fighting this, and is it ever worth it, I don’t know how I did it before having a Vitamix! It blends up almost anything so fast and smooth.)
Dump in a can of pineapple, or frozen pineapple or an entire fresh one cut into chunks.
Next add a can of coconut milk. I like to use the heavy coconut milk, not the lite one, as I want to fill my family up.
Then add in the bananas. This is where preference comes in as to how cold or frozen you want your smoothie.
If your not using frozen pineapple, make sure some of the bananas were frozen to give you a cool smoothie. You can use a mixture of frozen and fresh bananas to make the smoothie a bit thinner and not so cold.
If you’re going for a frozen pinna colada texture then add only frozen bananas.
If you want a pinna colada ice cream dessert use only frozen bananas and frozen pineapple.

Finally blend it until creamy.

Serve in a cup or as a smoothie bowl!

Tips: Vegan Pinna Colada Smoothie (Bowl)

How to turn a pinna colada smoothie into a meal?
This is my favourite quick and easy breakfast or light supper, especially a frozen pinna colada on a hot summer day after being outside all day.
Simply pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with healthy granola and any fresh fruit you have on hand.
What fruit goes well with pinna colada?
Obviously fresh pineapple and bananas. Fresh fruit such as strawberries, mango, raspberries and blueberries go nicely with a pinna colada smoothie bowl.
How to make a pinna colada smoothie without alcohol?
To make a virgin pinna colada smoothie is super easy, just don’t add alcohol. This recipe only uses 3 real fruit whole food ingredients: bananas, pineapple and coconut milk.
My smoothie is too cold or thick?
If you’re smoothie is to cold, try blending in some extra fresh bananas.
If you need more liquid simply add some more ripe bananas or extra coconut milk. Alternatively, add some pineapple juice if you have any on hand.
My smoothie is to runny and warm?
Simply add more frozen fruit either frozen bananas or frozen pineapple and blend just until the fruit is smooth. Blending for too long can cause the fruit to heat up slightly.
